Twilight

Watch Stephenie Meyer talk about Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse. A teenage girl risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire.

I saw this movie and it was great. I cant wait to watch the next book, actually there are more 3 books.

Plot Summary:
Bella Swan has always been a little bit different. Never one to run with the crowd, Bella never cared about fitting in with the trendy, plastic girls at her Phoenix, Arizona high school. When her mother remarried and Bella chooses to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she didn't expect much of anything to change. But things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful Edward Cullen. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, period. He's intelligent and witty, and he seems to see straight into her soul. In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance - unorthodox because Edward really isn't like the other boys. He can run faster than a mountain lion. He can stop a moving car with his bare hands. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. That's right - vampire. But he doesn't have fangs - that's just in the movies. And he doesn't drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice. To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited 90 years for - a soul mate. But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent, which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy. Somehow or other, they will have to manage their unmanageable love. But when unexpected visitors come to town and realize that there is a human among them Edward must fight to save Bella? A modern, visual, and visceral Romeo and Juliet story of the ultimate forbidden love affair - between vampire and mortal.

Mama Mia The Movie

Have you seen this movie? Really fun and cool.

The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular '70s group ABBA.

Set on a colorful Greek island, the plot serves as a background for a wealth of great ABBA songs which are used in remarkably appropriate ways. A young woman about to be married discovers that any one of three men could be her father. She invites all three to the wedding without telling her mother, Donna, who was once the lead singer of Donna and the Dynamos. In the meantime, Donna has invited her backup singers, Rosie and Tanya.

Toy Story 3D

Toy Story will be back this coming 2009. A 3d animation film by Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures.

"Toy Story 3D" - The art of animation goes "to infinity and beyond" as Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios, a Northern California-based pioneer in computer graphics, join creative forces on the infinitely entertaining "Toy Story," the first full-length animated feature to be created entirely by artists using computer tools and technology. Four years in the making, this delightfully irreverent new comedy-adventure combines an imaginative story and great characters with the visual excitement of 3-D computer-generated animation. Conceived and directed by John Lasseter, a former Disney animator whose innovative work with Pixar includes the 1989 Oscar-winning short, "Tin Toy," this film represents a major milestone in animated moviemaking with its groundbreaking graphic style adding to the believability of a world where toys have a life of their own. With a cast of top vocal talent headed by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen plus three entertaining new songs and an inspired score by renowned composer/performer Randy Newman, the fantasy takes flight and provides extraordinary delights for moviegoers of all ages.

Star Wars Movie using Rotoscoping Effect

Have you seen Star Wars? Actually, I learned something about animating a film which is the rotoscoping. With the help of the new technology today you can possibly do animated films. There's a lot of software's that ubiquitous now a day. Like the Star Wars movie, they do rotoscoping in their lightsaber effects. Doing some rotoscoping is a bit interesting, but for me its hard to do it hehehehehe I tried once but I didn't make it, too bad.

Rotoscoping is an animation technique in which animators trace over live-action film movement, frame by frame, for use in animated films. Originally, pre-recorded live-action film images were projected onto a frosted glass panel and re-drawn by an animator. This projection equipment is called a rotoscope, although this device has been replaced by computers in recent years. In the visual effects industry, the term rotoscoping refers to the technique of manually creating a matte for an element on a live-action plate so it may be composited over another background.

Here's a sample rotoscoping in Star Wars movie

I saw an artile that talks about the top 5 rotoscoping software and I want to share it with you. I hope this would be helpful to you.

Vantage Point

This movie was great! Two thumbs up for the writer and director of this movie. This movie was lead by Dennis Quaid as Thomas Barnes. Vantage Point means 8 Strangers, 8 Points of View and 1 Truth. Eight different characters that each of them hold a piece of the puzzle.

The attempted assassination of the American President is told and re-told from several different perspectives.

This movie is worth watching, I recommend you to watch this.

Mirrors 2008

I saw this movie last week. The movie is nice but I don't like the ending of it, its hanging maybe its because their planning to have a part 2 of the movie. This movie was lead by Kiefer Sutherland, role as Ben Carson.

Heres the synopsis:

A man is running away, escaping from something. He then runs into a locker room, where all of the lockers open to show his reflection. To his horror, the room's largest mirror begins to crack as he approaches it; he desperately apologizes to his reflection therein for running away in hopes of forgiveness, and begins fervently cleaning the mirrors. A piece of the mirror then falls off. Trying to redeem himself, he picks up the shard with the intention of putting it back on the mirror. However, his reflection slowly slashes his own throat, and the man dies, experiencing the effects of his throat being slashed despite not doing it himself.

Meanwhile, sometime later, Ben Carson (Kiefer Sutherland), a former undercover detective who was suspended after shooting another officer, is forced to take a night time security job at a department store that was gutted by a fire. The department store used to be a psychiatric hospital that experimented in treating schizophrenia. In 1952, a mass killing took place and the hospital was closed. It was later reopened as a luxury department store, the Mayflower. Carson comments on the pristine mirrors throughout the store, and the guard comments that the man Carson is replacing was obsessed with cleaning them.

Heath Ledger

"The Joker in the Dark Night"

While surfing to the net... I saw an article that talks about Heath Ledger and since Heath Ledger was performing well in his last movie which is the Dark Night, I read the article. I saw that movie 2 days ago and Heath Ledger was doing great in his career.

The article I saw talks about Oscar Nomination of the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. Heath Ledger is the supporting actor and role as “The Joker” in the said movie. There are people who wants Heath Ledger to be considered as nominee for the Best Actor but since Heath Ledger was just a supporting character of the movie. The main lead character has different role of the supporting character.

To understand more of what I'm trying to say... just read this
